Phyllis Shelton is an Economic Development Specialist for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Illinois District Office, where she works in the Marketing and Outreach Division. She has devoted 33 years of service to the SBA and has held several positions. Ms. Shelton continues to be and advocate for Economic Development through Entrepreneurial Education and Business Development. Also, she promotes Business and Community Initiatives. She has been assigned to the West Region that extends from Downtown Chicago West to Naperville, IL. Ms. Shelton is making footprints in areas that have been considered to be undeserved. She has a commitment to making sure that the U.S. Small Business Administration is Accessible to the Small Business Concern.
